Eros (film)

Eros is a 2004 erotic anthology film consisting of three short films, each directed by a different director: Michelangelo Antonioni, Steven Soderbergh, and Wong Kar-wai. • "The Hand" (directed by Michelangelo Antonioni): Set in Italy in 1960s, this segment focuses on a successful tailor, Ubaldo, and his obsessive relationship with a beautiful but enigmatic actress he meets. It explores themes of longing, the unattainable, and the power dynamics in a relationship. This was Antonioni's final film.

• "Equilibrium" (directed by Steven Soderbergh): Set in Las Vegas, this segment follows a therapist and his patient as they discuss the patient's recurring dreams of a woman. It delves into the complexities of sexual desire, the limitations of communication, and the subconscious mind.

• "The Last Time I Saw Her" (directed by Wong Kar-wai): Set in Hong Kong in the 1960s, this segment tells the story of a tailor's apprentice who embarks on a passionate affair with a courtesan. It explores themes of love, loss, memory, and the ephemeral nature of relationships against the backdrop of a vibrant and nostalgic city.
