Banbury

Banbury is a market town and civil parish in the Cherwell district of Oxfordshire, England. It is situated on the River Cherwell, approximately 64 miles (103 km) northwest of London and 38 miles (61 km) southeast of Birmingham.

Banbury is historically significant as a market town, with its market dating back to the 13th century. It remains an important commercial and retail center for the surrounding rural area. The town is known for Banbury cakes, a sweet pastry filled with currants and spices.
