Kelly High School (Chicago)
Kelly High School, officially Thomas Kelly College Preparatory High School, is a public four-year college preparatory high school located in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the southwest side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is a part of the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) system.
Founded in 1928, Kelly High School serves a diverse student population primarily from the surrounding neighborhoods of Brighton Park, Gage Park, and McKinley Park. The school is named after Thomas Kelly, a former alderman of Chicago.
Kelly offers a comprehensive curriculum including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, honors classes, and a variety of elective options. The school also provides various extracurricular activities, including sports teams, clubs, and organizations, catering to diverse student interests. Kelly High School's athletic teams are known as the Trojans.
