Kalamnuri
Kalamnuri is a city and a municipal council in Hingoli district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is also the headquarters of the Kalamnuri taluka (sub-division of the district). The city is located approximately 60 kilometers south of Hingoli city, the district headquarters.
Kalamnuri is known for its agricultural produce, particularly jowar (sorghum), cotton, and pulses. The local economy is primarily agrarian. It also serves as a regional trading center for surrounding villages.
The region has a predominantly Marathi-speaking population. The climate is typically hot and dry, with a monsoon season during the months of June to September.
