Bez (dancer)

Bez, whose full name is Mark Berry, is an English percussionist, dancer, and media personality, most famous for being a member of the alternative rock band Happy Mondays. His role within the band was primarily that of a dancer and freaky dancer, performing on stage alongside the band and contributing to their chaotic and energetic live performances. He is not a musician in the traditional sense, as he doesn't play any instruments.

Bez's unconventional approach to performance has made him a recognizable and iconic figure in British popular culture. His dancing style is often described as eccentric and unchoreographed, contributing to the Happy Mondays' unique image and appeal.

Following the Happy Mondays' initial disbandment, Bez has participated in various media ventures, including reality television shows and political activism. He won the sixth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2005. He has also been involved in promoting organic farming and beekeeping.
