Duncan Williams (rugby union)

Duncan Williams (born September 20, 1986) is an Irish former rugby union player. He primarily played as a scrum-half.

Williams began his professional career with Munster, making his debut in 2009. He spent his entire professional career with the province, becoming a consistent member of the squad and known for his reliable service and strong box-kicking game. While primarily a backup to more established scrum-halves at Munster, he frequently featured in both the Pro12 (later Pro14) and European Rugby Champions Cup competitions.

He earned two caps for the Ireland national rugby union team. His first cap came against Georgia in November 2014, and his second against Canada in November 2016.

Williams announced his retirement from professional rugby in April 2019, citing injury as the reason for his departure.
