Li Ning (footballer)

Li Ning (born January 1, 1984) is a Chinese football player who currently plays for Shijiazhuang Gongfu in the China League One. He primarily plays as a defender.

Li Ning began his football career with Dalian Shide's youth academy. He eventually graduated to the senior team but struggled to establish himself as a regular starter.

In 2009, he transferred to Changchun Yatai, where he saw more playing time. He remained with Changchun Yatai for several seasons before moving to other clubs.

Over his career, Li Ning has also played for clubs such as Beijing Guoan and Dalian Aerbin (later known as Dalian Yifang).

His career has been characterized by a journeyman-like trajectory, moving between several clubs in the Chinese Super League and China League One. He is known for his versatility as a defender, capable of playing in multiple positions across the back line.
