Pawlet (CDP), Vermont

Pawlet is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Pawlet, Rutland County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population of the CDP was 147.

The CDP is located in the southwestern corner of Vermont, near the New York state border. It is situated along the Pawlet River, a tributary of the Mettawee River. Vermont Route 30 passes through the CDP, leading north to Dorset and south to Rupert.

The Pawlet CDP consists primarily of the village center of Pawlet. It includes the historic Pawlet Green, surrounding residences, and local businesses. The economy of the area is largely based on agriculture, tourism, and small businesses. The CDP is governed as part of the larger town of Pawlet.
