Iain Webb

Iain Webb is a British-Australian ballet dancer, ballet master, and artistic director. He is best known for his work as Artistic Director of The Sarasota Ballet in Florida, a position he has held since 2007.

Webb received his training at The Royal Ballet School in London. He danced professionally with The Royal Ballet Touring Company (later known as Birmingham Royal Ballet) for ten years before transitioning to a career as a ballet master and educator.

Prior to his appointment at The Sarasota Ballet, Webb served as Director of the Queensland Ballet Academy in Australia. He has also held various teaching positions and guest teaching engagements at prestigious ballet institutions worldwide.

As Artistic Director of The Sarasota Ballet, Webb has significantly elevated the company's profile through an ambitious repertoire showcasing the works of Frederick Ashton, Antony Tudor, George Balanchine, and other prominent choreographers. He is credited with attracting world-class dancers and building a strong connection with the Sarasota community. His leadership has resulted in critical acclaim and increased audience attendance for The Sarasota Ballet.
