Ras Moshe
Ras Moshe Burnett (born c. 1967), also known as Ras Moshe, is an American free jazz saxophonist, flautist, clarinetist, and composer. He is a prominent figure in the New York City free jazz scene and has been active since the early 1990s.
Moshe's music is characterized by its improvisational nature, spiritual depth, and exploration of extended techniques. He often draws inspiration from African, Middle Eastern, and Jewish musical traditions. He frequently performs solo, in small ensembles, and as a member of larger collectives.
