John Baker (Australian footballer)

John Baker is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Fitzroy Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He was recruited from Preston Technical School. Baker made his debut in 1969 and played a total of 35 senior games for Fitzroy between 1969 and 1972. He was known as a determined and reliable player, typically playing as a defender.
