Hornsey and Friern Barnet (UK Parliament constituency)
Hornsey and Friern Barnet was a constituency returning one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was created for the 1983 general election, replacing the former Hornsey constituency, and abolished for the 1997 general election.
The constituency was located in the London Borough of Haringey. It covered the areas of Hornsey, Friern Barnet, and parts of Muswell Hill.
The MPs who represented the constituency were:
- 1983-1992: Sir Hugh Rossi (Conservative)
- 1992-1997: Barbara Roche (Labour)
Following its abolition in 1997, the areas previously covered by Hornsey and Friern Barnet were largely incorporated into the new constituency of Hornsey and Wood Green. Some small sections were transferred to other neighbouring constituencies.
