Roy Myrie
Roy Myrie (born August 13, 1982) is a retired Costa Rican professional footballer who primarily played as a left back.
Myrie began his professional career with Limonense in Costa Rica before moving to Gent in Belgium. He subsequently played for Austria Wien in Austria. Later in his career, he returned to Costa Rica to play for various clubs, including Brujas, Ramonense, and Perez Zeledon.
He was a member of the Costa Rica national football team, earning caps and participating in international competitions. Myrie represented Costa Rica in the 2006 FIFA World Cup held in Germany. He also featured in various CONCACAF Gold Cup tournaments and other international friendlies.
Myrie was known for his defensive abilities, tackling, and work rate on the left side of the field.
