Høvåg (village)

Høvåg is a village in the municipality of Lillesand in Agder county, Norway. It is located along the coast of the Skagerrak sea, about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) southeast of the town of Lillesand. Historically, Høvåg was the administrative centre of the former municipality of Høvåg, which existed from 1838 until 1971 when it was merged into Lillesand.

The village is known for its scenic coastal location and its historic Høvåg Church, a stone church dating back to the 12th century. The surrounding area consists of a mix of residential areas, agricultural land, and forests. Tourism is also an important part of the local economy, particularly during the summer months. The Blindleia, a sheltered waterway, passes close to Høvåg, making it a popular area for boating and recreation.
