Greatest Hits Volume III (Billy Joel album)
Greatest Hits Volume III is a compilation album by American singer-songwriter Billy Joel, released on August 27, 1997. The album features songs from Joel's studio albums released between 1983 and 1993, encompassing material from An Innocent Man, The Bridge, Storm Front, and River of Dreams. Unlike Joel's first two Greatest Hits volumes, Greatest Hits Volume III includes a significant number of less commercially successful or deeper album cuts, alongside the expected hit singles. It also contains two previously unreleased tracks: "To Make You Feel My Love," a Bob Dylan cover, and "Hey Girl," a Carole King and Gerry Goffin cover. The album was released on CD, cassette, and vinyl. It was a commercial success, reaching platinum status in the United States.
