Grady Wilson (baseball)

Grady Wilson (born August 19, 1935, died November 27, 1996) was an American professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox (1961-1963) and the Detroit Tigers (1965-1966).

Wilson was signed by the Red Sox as an amateur free agent in 1956. Before reaching the majors, he served in the United States Army. He debuted with the Red Sox on April 11, 1961. He was known for his fastball.

In his MLB career, Wilson appeared in 89 games, pitching 202 innings. He had a career record of 10 wins and 11 losses, with an earned run average (ERA) of 4.14. He also recorded 10 saves. After his playing career, Wilson remained active in baseball, working as a scout.
