Goodea

Goodea is a genus of fish in the family Goodeidae, endemic to Mexico. These fish are livebearers, meaning they give birth to live young rather than laying eggs. The genus is part of a larger group known as goodeids, all of which share this livebearing characteristic and are found primarily in the Mexican Plateau.
