George Bell (pitcher)

George Bell (born November 28, 1967) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1992 and 1993.

Bell was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1st round (1st pick) of the 1986 MLB January Draft-Regular Phase from Okeechobee High School in Okeechobee, Florida.

During his brief MLB career, Bell primarily pitched in relief. He appeared in 20 games, accumulating 23 innings pitched. He had a career ERA of 6.26. His major league debut was on September 1, 1992, and his final game was on September 26, 1993.
