Paco Sanz (footballer, born 1972)

Francisco "Paco" Sanz Durán (born 20 January 1972) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a defender.

Sanz spent the majority of his professional career with Real Oviedo, amassing over 200 league appearances for the club between 1993 and 2003. He began his career with Real Madrid's youth system, and also played for CD Toledo before joining Oviedo. After his time in Oviedo, he had a spell with UD San Sebastián de los Reyes before retiring.

While he never earned a full international cap for Spain, Sanz was a consistent performer at the club level in La Liga for a decade. He primarily operated as a centre-back, known for his tackling and aerial ability.
