Josef Bursik (footballer)

Josef Bursik (born 13 July 2000) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for English club AFC Bournemouth.

Bursik began his career within the youth academy of Stoke City. He spent loan spells at Hednesford Town, AFC Telford United, Accrington Stanley, Doncaster Rovers, and Peterborough United to gain first-team experience. Bursik made his senior debut for Stoke City in November 2020.

In January 2023, Bursik signed for AFC Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee.

Bursik has represented England at various youth international levels, including the under-17, under-18, under-19, under-20, and under-21 teams.
