Adam May (footballer)

Adam May (born 8 December 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder.

May began his career in the Portsmouth F.C. Academy, progressing through the youth ranks before making his professional debut for the club in 2015. During his time at Portsmouth, he also had loan spells at Havant & Waterlooville, Gosport Borough, and Swindon Town to gain first-team experience.

In January 2019, May joined Cambridge United on a permanent transfer. He became a regular member of the Cambridge United squad, contributing to their promotion to League One in the 2020–21 season.

Following a successful spell with Cambridge, May signed for Wycombe Wanderers in June 2022. As of late 2023, he continues to be a part of their squad.

May has also represented England at the under-17 level.
