François Duval (politician)

François Duval (born February 7, 1903, died December 28, 1984) was a Belgian politician and lawyer. He served as a member of the Chamber of Representatives for the Christian Social Party (PSC-CVP) from 1954 to 1968, representing the district of Neufchâteau-Virton. During his time in parliament, Duval focused primarily on matters related to agriculture and regional development within the Walloon region. He also served as Minister of Agriculture in the Harmel government from 1965 to 1966. Following his parliamentary career, he remained active in local politics and agricultural organizations. His career marked a period of significant political and social change in Belgium, particularly concerning regional identities and agricultural policy.
