Krćevina

Krćevina, in Croatian, refers to land that has been cleared of forest or other vegetation, typically for agricultural or building purposes. The term implies the act of clearing, but also commonly refers to the result of that action: the cleared land itself. The process of creating a krćevina often involves the felling of trees, removal of undergrowth, and sometimes the burning of remaining vegetation.
