Eric Li

Eric Li is a Chinese political scientist, venture capitalist, and commentator. He is known for his perspectives on Chinese governance and its differences from Western democratic models.

Li is a founder and chairman of Chengwei Capital, a private equity firm based in Shanghai. He has also been a visiting fellow at think tanks such as the Brookings Institution. He holds a doctorate in political science from the University of California, Berkeley.
