Zetman

Zetman is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masakazu Katsura. It tells the story of Jin Kanzaki, a young man who possesses superhuman abilities and is caught between two evolving species of artificial humans known as Players and the forces trying to control them. The series explores themes of justice, morality, genetic engineering, and the burden of power.

The narrative follows Jin's development from a homeless youth protecting others with his unique abilities to a more complex and conflicted character grappling with his origins and his responsibility to humanity. He confronts various threats, including rogue Players and shadowy organizations seeking to exploit or eliminate his kind.

The Zetman manga was serialized in Weekly Young Jump from 2002 to 2014. It was adapted into a 13-episode anime television series by TMS Entertainment, which aired in Japan in 2012. The anime adaptation covers only a portion of the manga's storyline.

The series is characterized by its mature themes, intricate plot, and Katsura's distinctive art style, known for its detailed character designs and dynamic action sequences.
