Julius Green (baseball)
Julius Green (born August 28, 1981) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers in 2003.
Career
Green was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 43rd round of the 2000 Major League Baseball draft. He spent several years in their minor league system before making his major league debut on September 6, 2003. Green played in 10 games for the Rangers in 2003, recording a .143 batting average with 2 hits in 14 at-bats. He did not record any home runs or RBIs.
After his brief stint in the majors, Green continued to play in the minor leagues for the Rangers organization and later for other teams. He retired from professional baseball in 2008.
