Clouseau (band)

Clouseau is a Belgian pop and rock band, popular primarily in Belgium and the Netherlands. They are named after Inspector Clouseau, a character from The Pink Panther film series.

The band was formed in the mid-1980s by Koen Wauters (vocals) and Kris Wauters (guitar), along with several other musicians. Their early music was primarily in English, but they achieved wider success after switching to Dutch.

Clouseau represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991 with the song "Geen Idee!" (No Idea!), finishing in 16th place.

Throughout their career, Clouseau has released numerous albums and singles, achieving platinum and gold status in Belgium and the Netherlands. Some of their best-known songs include "Anne," "Daar gaat ze" (There she goes), and "Passie" (Passion).

The band has undergone several lineup changes over the years, with Koen and Kris Wauters remaining the core members. They continue to tour and release new music, maintaining a strong following in their home countries.
