Eri Yamaguchi (runner)
Eri Yamaguchi (山口 絵里, Yamaguchi Eri, born August 14, 1973) is a retired Japanese long-distance runner who specialized in the marathon. She represented Japan at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, finishing 34th. She achieved her personal best marathon time of 2:23:12 at the 2007 Osaka International Ladies Marathon, where she finished second.
Yamaguchi also participated in several other prominent marathons, including the London Marathon and the Chicago Marathon. Throughout her career, she was known for her consistent performance and dedication to the sport. Her achievements contributed to the strong tradition of women's marathon running in Japan.
