Radio Tay

Radio Tay is a commercial radio station broadcasting to Tayside and northeast Fife in Scotland. It began broadcasting on 17 January 1980.

The station is owned and operated by Bauer Radio as part of the Hits Radio network. Radio Tay broadcasts two distinct services:

• Tay FM: Plays a contemporary hit radio (CHR) format, targeting a younger audience.

• Tay AM: Plays a classic hits format, targeting an older audience.

The station's studios are located in Dundee. Radio Tay provides local news, information, and entertainment to its listeners, as well as networked programming from the Hits Radio network. It also provides local advertising opportunities for businesses in the Tayside region.

Radio Tay’s coverage area includes Dundee, Perth, and surrounding towns and villages. The station has played a significant role in the local community for over four decades.
