Tom Woods

Tom Woods (born 1972) is an American libertarian author, economist, and podcaster. He holds a Ph.D. in history from Columbia University. He is known for his advocacy of Austrian economics, libertarian political philosophy, and secessionism. Woods is a senior fellow at the Mises Institute and has written or contributed to numerous books and articles on topics ranging from economics and history to political philosophy and current events. He hosts "The Tom Woods Show," a daily podcast covering a wide range of topics from a libertarian perspective. He has been a vocal critic of mainstream economic and political thought, advocating for free markets and limited government.
