Jim Roth (politician)

Jim Roth is an American politician from Oklahoma. He served as a Democratic member of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission from 2007 to 2019.

Roth was first elected to the Corporation Commission in 2006 and re-elected in 2012. The Corporation Commission regulates public utilities, transportation, and oil and gas industries within Oklahoma. During his tenure, Roth focused on issues related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, and consumer protection. He often advocated for policies aimed at diversifying Oklahoma's energy sources and promoting responsible regulation of the oil and gas industry.
