Haverbeck
Ursula Haverbeck-Wetzel (born November 8, 1928) is a German author and Holocaust denier. She has been repeatedly convicted in German courts for Volksverhetzung (incitement to hatred) for denying the Holocaust, a crime in Germany.
Haverbeck was the chairwoman of the Collegium Humanum, a right-wing educational center that was banned in 2008 for spreading Nazi propaganda. She has a long history of association with far-right extremist groups and publications.
Her denial of the Holocaust is based on the claim that Auschwitz was not an extermination camp, but a labor camp. She frequently disseminates her views through publications, public speeches, and online platforms, despite her convictions and imprisonment. Due to her persistent denial of the Holocaust, Haverbeck is considered a prominent figure in the international Holocaust denial movement. She has served multiple prison sentences for her views and continues to face legal challenges related to her statements. Her actions and rhetoric are widely condemned by historians, scholars, and anti-hate organizations.
