Jim Bohan

Jim Bohan (born James Edward Bohan, Jr., January 1, 1944 – November 6, 2023) was an American late-night radio talk show host. He was best known as the host of The Jim Bohan Show, a nationally syndicated program that aired on Westwood One and later on Cumulus Media Networks.

Bohan began his radio career in the 1960s. Before taking over the nationally syndicated show that would become his signature, he worked as a news anchor and reporter. He served as a substitute host for Larry King on The Larry King Show for several years, which increased his national profile.

The Jim Bohan Show typically featured discussions on current events, politics, and various other topics, often incorporating listener calls. Bohan's style was generally considered to be more moderate and conversational compared to some other nationally syndicated talk radio programs. He often interviewed authors, politicians, and other newsmakers.

Bohan received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, recognizing his contributions to radio broadcasting. He was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame in 2013. His passing in 2023 marked the end of a significant era in late-night radio.
