Dave Thomas (rugby union, born 1941)

Dave Thomas (born 25 May 1941) is a former Welsh international rugby union player. He played as a prop for Newport RFC and earned 14 caps for Wales between 1967 and 1970. Thomas was known for his strength and scrummaging ability. He was part of the Welsh team that won the Triple Crown in 1969. After retiring from playing, he remained involved in rugby, often appearing as a commentator and pundit on Welsh television and radio.
