Bharat FC
Bharat FC, officially known as Bharat Football Club, was an Indian professional football club based in Pune, Maharashtra. The club competed in the I-League, India's top-tier football league, for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
Established in 2014, Bharat FC aimed to promote youth football development and provide opportunities for local talent. The club was owned by the Kalyani Group, an Indian multinational conglomerate.
Bharat FC played its home matches at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune. The club's colors were primarily blue and white.
Despite its ambition, Bharat FC struggled on the field and failed to achieve significant success in the I-League. The club faced financial difficulties and ultimately shut down its operations in 2016 after just two seasons.
Following its dissolution, Bharat FC's legacy primarily revolves around its brief participation in Indian professional football and its contribution, however limited, to the development of football in Pune.
