Fernando Luna (tennis)

Fernando Luna (born April 24, 1958, in Barcelona, Spain) is a former professional tennis player from Spain. He competed primarily on the ATP Tour during the 1980s.

Luna achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 32 in November 1985. He was known primarily as a clay-court specialist. His best Grand Slam result was reaching the fourth round of the 1984 French Open, where he defeated Heinz Gunthardt, Henrik Sundstrom, and Thierry Tulasne before losing to Yannick Noah.

Luna won one singles title during his career, at the 1985 Bastad tournament where he defeated Jan Gunnarsson in the final. He also reached the finals of several other tournaments.

After retiring from professional tennis, Luna became a tennis coach.
