Paul Miller (footballer, born 1959)

Paul Miller (born 23 February 1959) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender.

Miller began his career at Watford, making his debut in 1977. He quickly established himself in the first team, playing a significant role in the club's rise through the divisions under manager Graham Taylor. Miller was known for his strong tackling, aerial ability, and commitment.

He remained at Watford until 1986, making over 200 league appearances for the club. He was part of the team that reached the 1984 FA Cup Final, losing to Everton.

In 1986, Miller moved to Millwall. He spent several seasons at The Den, becoming a regular in the side and a popular figure with the fans. He also served as club captain during his time with the Lions.

After leaving Millwall in 1990, Miller had a brief spell at Aldershot before retiring from professional football.
