El Ravah

El Ravah (also sometimes rendered as Al-Rawah or Rawa) is a town located in the Anbar Governorate of Iraq, situated along the Euphrates River. It's historically significant as one of the oldest continuously inhabited towns in the region, with its origins tracing back to ancient times.

El Ravah is known for its strategic location and has served as an important crossing point and trading hub along the Euphrates for centuries. Its history is intertwined with various empires and dynasties that controlled the region, including the Babylonians, Persians, Romans, and Ottomans.
