Edjeleh

Edjeleh is a town and commune in the Illizi Province of southeastern Algeria. It is located in the Sahara Desert, near the border with Libya, and is an oasis settlement.

The economy of Edjeleh is centered on agriculture, particularly date palm cultivation, and increasingly on the oil and gas industry. The region is rich in hydrocarbon deposits, and several companies operate in the area, contributing to the local economy.
