Don Ray (basketball)

Don Ray is a former American basketball player. He played collegiately at Western Kentucky University from 1969 to 1973. A 6'6" forward, Ray was known for his scoring ability and rebounding. He was drafted by the Dallas Chaparrals of the American Basketball Association (ABA) in the 1973 ABA Draft, though he did not play in the ABA. Ray had a successful professional basketball career in Europe, primarily in Belgium, where he played for several years. His career included scoring titles and recognition as a top player in the Belgian league.
