John Black (footballer, born 1900)
John Black (born 1900, date of death unknown) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as an outside left.
Black began his career with junior clubs before joining Scottish League side Airdrieonians. He then moved south to England, signing for Darlington in 1923. He made over 100 league appearances for Darlington before moving to Rochdale in 1928. He spent one season with Rochdale, playing a smaller number of games, before returning to Scotland. Further details of his career after his return to Scotland are scarce, although it is believed he played at a lower level.
