Andy Lau

Andy Lau Tak-wah SBS JP (劉德華) (born September 27, 1961) is a Hong Kong actor, singer, presenter, and film producer. He has been one of Hong Kong's most commercially successful film actors since the mid-1980s, performing in more than 160 films while maintaining a successful singing career at the same time.

Lau began his career in television, training at TVB's acting classes and later gaining recognition in series such as The Return of the Condor Heroes (1983). He transitioned to film in the 1980s and quickly rose to prominence in the Hong Kong film industry.

As a singer, Lau has released numerous albums in Cantonese and Mandarin and is known for his distinctive vocal style and charismatic stage presence. He is considered one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of Cantopop, alongside Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok, and Leon Lai, who dominated the music scene during the 1990s and beyond.
