Dedinje

Dedinje is an affluent residential neighborhood in Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in the municipality of Savski Venac and is known for its large villas, green spaces, and diplomatic residences.

Historically, Dedinje was a royal estate during the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Several members of the Karađorđević dynasty resided there, and some royal residences still exist. After World War II, the area continued to be a preferred location for political elites and high-ranking officials in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

Today, Dedinje remains one of the most exclusive and expensive neighborhoods in Belgrade, attracting diplomats, businesspeople, and prominent members of Serbian society. It is characterized by low-density housing, quiet streets, and a sense of privacy. It is also home to various embassies and international organizations. The Museum of Yugoslavia (formerly the House of Flowers, the burial site of Josip Broz Tito) is located near Dedinje, further adding to the area's historical and cultural significance.
