Danny Wilde (musician)

Danny Wilde (born as Daniel Steven Seraphine, January 19, 1956) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist for the 1980s pop rock band The Rembrandts.

Wilde began his musical career in the Los Angeles area. He initially played in bands such as Great Buildings before forming The Rembrandts with Phil Solem in 1989. The Rembrandts achieved international fame with their hit song "I'll Be There for You," which was used as the theme song for the popular television sitcom Friends.

While primarily known for his work with The Rembrandts, Wilde has also pursued a solo career, releasing several albums. His solo work often showcases a more introspective and acoustic sound compared to the upbeat power pop style of The Rembrandts. He continues to write and perform music, both solo and with various projects.
