Christian (singer)
A "Christian singer" is a musician whose work is primarily focused on Christian themes, often incorporating elements of Christian worship, faith, and values in their lyrics and musical style. This encompasses a broad range of genres including, but not limited to, Christian pop, Christian rock, gospel, contemporary Christian music (CCM), and Christian hip-hop.
Christian singers may perform in churches, concert venues, festivals, and other settings. Their music often aims to inspire, uplift, and share their personal faith journey with listeners. Many Christian singers are explicitly part of the Christian music industry, releasing albums on Christian record labels and receiving airplay on Christian radio stations. Others may integrate their faith into more mainstream genres, without necessarily being categorized solely as "Christian" artists. The lyrical content and artist's stated intentions are often key indicators of whether a singer is considered a "Christian singer."
