Corb (river)
The Corb is a small river located in County Clare, Ireland. It is a tributary of the River Fergus, flowing into it near Ennis. The Corb is known for its relatively short length and its course through predominantly agricultural landscapes. The river is primarily used for local water supply and agricultural irrigation. Its water quality can be impacted by agricultural runoff and wastewater discharges, which are subject to ongoing monitoring and management efforts. Historically, the Corb may have powered small mills, although substantial evidence of these is now limited. Recreational use is minimal, primarily limited to occasional angling.
