Karacabey is a town and district located in the Bursa Province of Turkey. Situated in the Marmara Region, Karacabey is known for its fertile agricultural lands, particularly for tomato and onion production. Historically, the area has been inhabited since ancient times, with evidence of Roman and Byzantine settlements.

The town’s economy is heavily reliant on agriculture and animal husbandry, including cattle and sheep breeding. In addition to tomatoes and onions, other significant agricultural products include melons, peppers, and various grains. The Karacabey Stud Farm (Karacabey Harası), a state-owned facility, is a notable institution dedicated to horse breeding, specifically for the Turkish Arabian breed.

The park is home to a variety of bird species and other wildlife, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers.

Administratively, Karacabey is a district governed by a district municipality and a district governor appointed by the central government. The local government is responsible for providing public services and managing the town's infrastructure. The district borders the Sea of Marmara to the north and includes coastal areas.
