Col Agnel
Col Agnel is a high mountain pass in the Cottian Alps, on the border between France (Hautes-Alpes department) and Italy (Piedmont region). It connects the Queyras valley in France with the Valle Varaita in Italy.
At an elevation of 2,744 metres (9,003 ft), it is the third highest paved road pass in the Alps after the Col de l'Iseran and the Stelvio Pass. It is typically open from June to October, depending on snow conditions. The road to the pass is known for its scenic views, particularly of Mont Viso.
The pass is popular with cyclists and motorcyclists. It has been used several times in the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia cycling races.
