Nexus 6P
The Nexus 6P was an Android smartphone co-developed by Google and Huawei. Released in September 2015, it was one of two Nexus phones launched that year, the other being the Nexus 5X (manufactured by LG). The 6P was positioned as the higher-end model, featuring a larger screen, more premium materials, and enhanced specifications.
Key features of the Nexus 6P included a 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor, 3GB of RAM, and internal storage options of 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB. It also boasted a 12.3-megapixel rear camera noted for its low-light performance.
The phone ran stock Android (initially Android 6.0 Marshmallow) and was guaranteed to receive timely software updates directly from Google for a period of time, a hallmark of the Nexus program. The device also included a fingerprint sensor on the rear, a USB Type-C port, and front-facing stereo speakers.
The Nexus 6P was discontinued in 2016.
