Brian Dunning (cricketer)
Brian Dunning (born 25 April 1949) is a former Irish cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-pace bowler.
Dunning played first-class cricket for Ireland between 1974 and 1982, making 15 appearances. He also represented Ireland in List A cricket. He is best known for his aggressive batting style and his ability to score quickly.
His highest first-class score was 114 against Scotland in 1979. He also took a five-wicket haul against Wales in 1981.
After his playing career, Dunning remained involved in cricket as a coach and administrator. He has served as a selector for the Irish national team.
